Mistral releases Le Chonk model weights for coding and cyberdefense

Mistral released the weights for Le Chonk, which it describes as a model for agentic coding and cybersecurity. The company says it ranks first among open models on Cognition’s FrontierCode benchmark and claims state-of-the-art cyberdefense performance, citing testing by vendors including CrowdStrike and Cloudflare. Mistral says the weights are available on Hugging Face for customization with Mistral Forge and deployment wherever users need.
