The transition brings back rising rents and corporate interest.
Positive users are optimistic about moving back to San Francisco due to the revived AI boom energy, while negative users criticize the trend for bringing high rents, sterility, nihilism, or even call for accelerating collapse.

you had to have been kind of insane to have stuck it out here through covid and the following years. in 2022 SF was in bad shape, ZIRP was over and the strivers had packed up and left. only the true sickos remained to start many of the companies luring the strivers back in today

@Chadson i myself don't mind a bit of SF real estate speculation (sex parties)

@creatine_cycle Time for me to move back

@swe_zach the sex parties always get them

@creatine_cycle it is literally easier to get funded than to get hired today. has an interesting effect on the type of people coming here

@creatine_cycle People are going thru the motions of flirting with me again, and I'm a fucking loser, we're so back, we've been back, we have never lost, we're all going to make it, no blackpilling

@creatine_cycle unless we can accelerate the collapse

@creatine_cycle Where is Tim ferriss

the rent and housing prices are what everyone sees and this is acute in SF. what they don't see is a return of sterility and nihilism. today it's 6k per hour prostitutes. tomorrow it's a new substance to gigafry your brain while on a south american wellness retreat

@creatine_cycle it’s sexual but in the way that tweeting about AI is sexual for [our beloved mutuals]

@creatine_cycle That tweet ended a lot less encouragingly than it began...
