Meta plans security patches and critical bug fixes for both headsets through the end of 2027.
Meta plans to release the final OS update for both headsets, v213, by March 2027. Developers can submit apps supporting either model through December 2027. The Quest 2 and Quest Pro were discontinued in 2024, and Meta now calls the Quest 3 and 3S its baseline for VR gamers.
