Trump says US will impose AI guardrails, claiming the administration recently blocked an unspecified Anthropic action

Looks like Anthropic will give away equity as well to USG along with OpenAI

Trump is now openly linking AI guardrails with a possible public “contribution” from companies making huge profits.

This morning, he pointed to the recent Anthropic intervention as proof the administration can “stop something” it does not like, then suggested AI companies may soon make “a contribution to the people of our country.”
