Apple's Pages, Keynote and Numbers updates reportedly add Intelligent Assistant beta for Apple Creator Studio subscribers

Apple is rolling out updates to Pages, Keynote and Numbers with an Intelligent Assistant beta for Apple Creator Studio subscribers, Ryan Christoffel reported for 9to5Mac on Oct. 22. His report says the beta is limited to US English and requires iOS 27 or later.

Christoffel's account of Apple's release notes describes different tools for each app. In Pages, the assistant can draft and edit text. In Keynote, it can generate slides and presenter notes. In Numbers, it can generate tables, suggest charts and help with formulas. The described requests use natural language.

The subscriber features are separate from a Keynote change that 9to5Mac says can benefit all users: import and export of presentations in Interchange Format (.keyx). Apple says the open format should make Keynote files easier to edit in other apps, according to the report.
