Samsung’s 8LPU+ process floated as a possible fit for a Switch 2 Lite

Nintendo Patents Watch speculated that Nvidia could adapt the current Switch 2 chip to Samsung’s 8LPU+ manufacturing process, VideoCardz reports. Samsung claims the process delivers 12% higher performance and 15% lower power use than its previous 8LPU process; those figures are not handheld specifications. Wccftech, also citing Nintendo Patents Watch, says the process could make a cheaper Lite model possible. Nintendo has not announced one.
