SpaceX and Nvidia Design Orbital Vera Rubin System
Elon Musk posted about a SpaceX and Nvidia collaboration on orbital AI hardware.
A Techmeme post noted Nvidia's Groq 3 LPX entering production with Nebius as first customer and SpaceXAI adopting Vera CPUs. Elon Musk replied that the design is simpler, lower cost, denser and lighter than a traditional rack. In a quoted post he stated SpaceX in partnership with Nvidia designed a space-optimized Vera Rubin NVL72 system for orbital launch in Q4 next year and significant scale in 2028.
