@pawtrammell Thank you for holding this line. Right now, in a world filled with serious problems, it would be the height of perversity to bottleneck progress everywhere simply so the most privileged can receive their support in the form of a salary rather than by some alternative means.
@panickssery @pawtrammell The only thing left for ambitious people to do is to gain power via politics..also I would imagine this wouldn’t be possible. The ruling class with the ASI would stay the ruling class, in perpetuity. It’s messy and dystopian.
@pawtrammell This is far more disruptive and has zero precedence. Good luck guiding that ship. Requires equitable allotment at a higher, centralized level. Were you born under a rock?
