Florida Orders Flock Cameras Off State Roads

NOTUS reports Florida is directing agencies to remove Flock automated license plate readers from state-controlled highways, the first state to take that step. The decision followed days after Governor Ron DeSantis raised concerns about the technology. BGR states the action amounts to an outright ban. TNW reports Florida revoked every license plate reader permit on state highways, days after Texas froze related funding. Multiple linked sources confirm the removal orders apply to existing installations on state roads.
