Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff announced that AIForce is “officially SIForce,” adding, “The era of Super Intelligence is here.” His post did not explain whether the new name comes with changes to the product's features, availability or pricing.
Salesforce introduced AIforce at Dreamforce on September 15 as a live interface layer that brings the company's data, workflows, business logic, permissions, security and governance into AI interfaces. Salesforce says the layer is meant to let people and agents ask questions, update records and trigger workflows from tools such as Claude and Slack without opening the main Salesforce interface.
The company said AIforce is powered by its Headless Toolkit, which exposes Salesforce capabilities through MCP servers, APIs, plug-ins and skills. It launched the layer alongside Claudeforce, Slackforce and Agentforce Coworker. Salesforce also says requests run through existing permissions and business rules, while model providers retain none of the business data used to answer them.
