Tesla–SpaceX merger speculation follows Musk’s collaboration remarks

Asked why Tesla and SpaceX were still separate companies, Elon Musk pointed to their close collaboration and wondered “what action one might take,” according to a user sharing his All-In Summit remarks on September 15, 2026. The user added “Merger 😏” as their own commentary.

The same user quoted Musk discussing Tesla’s planned October 1 Roadster event: “We actually need an audience there to vouch that this is not AI.”
