In the early days of DoorDash, the whole delivery network ran on one guy named Steve. An order came in, Steve found the nearest driver, and texted them to go grab it. No dispatch system. Just Steve.

He was great at it. He just didn't scale.

So an early engineer named Rohan wrote the software to take the work off his plate, and Steve went on to bigger things helping the company grow.

Every company has a Steve. Almost none have a Rohan, and that's why he, and his cofounders Will and Diego, built @conveyAI
