Anthropic just struck a deal with the government to allow 100 select companies and governmental agencies use Mythos.
The government and anthropic are now deciding who uses frontier intelligence. Hopefully this is just Mythos and not the standard for all frontier models going forward.

Many users objected to Anthropic's deal with the government restricting Mythos access because they see it as unfair gatekeeping of powerful AI that withholds collective knowledge and favors select organizations.

@MatthewBerman I’ve worked for US multinationals where the IT workforce are scattered across 4 continents and in constant communication as systems are developed and maintained. How is this model going to work when only US citizens are allowed to access the most capable LLMs?

I personally think a well thought out harness is more important than the model. That doesn't mean the harness shouldn't be swapped as needed for the operation desired.

@MatthewBerman This will happen with every model release, by the time you get them they won't even be frontier anymore. They will be only slightly better than Chinese models and likely for a matter of weeks. I'm not paying frontier prices for that. The only voice you have is your wallet.
