NeowinFeed reports the end of Manifest V2 extension support including uBlock Origin.
TLDR
A post from NeowinFeed states Microsoft Edge will phase out MV2 by April 2027. This directly ends support for uBlock Origin. The account notes a registry hack still works for now but will not last. The accompanying summary indicates the step follows similar changes already underway in other Chromium-based browsers. Readers of the post see a clear deadline for users of older extensions to prepare for the shift.
