FCC ban bars new foreign-made Minions routers without an exemption
Davolink's Kevin and Bob routers can still be sold in the US, but new foreign-made models need an exemption.
TLDR
The FCC added foreign-produced routers to its Covered List in March 2026, requiring an exemption for new models to get US sales authorization. Davolink has no exemption, though its already-authorized Kevin and Bob routers remain legal to sell and use. Kevin is a tri-band Wi-Fi 6E router; RTINGS found it faster and with better range than TP-Link's Archer AXE75. A waiver allows security and compatibility updates through at least January 1, 2029.
