Is Chine engaging in permissionless innovation or did they establish a more sensible framework of laws governing AI and spreading its tech’s benefits equally so that people (and their authoritarian socialist representatives) end up feeling much more favorable to AI and tech in general? We (tech) spent the last 15 years shitting in this pool and now we’re complaining that it’s not supporting us.
