It would only take about 20 of our Superpower small modular turbines to make enough electricity to reduce every thermostat in NYC from 78 degrees to a more human 72. We'd be happy to provide them.

NYC had a nuclear power plant 36 miles away called Indian Point.

It supplied carbon-free safe power that would mean no one would need to turn up their thermostats.

But it was closed in 2021 by the degrowth Death Cult. Now NYC relies on fossil fuels for 90% of its power 🫠

I wonder if he will reply. Does he actually want to solve the problem, or just be unified in suffering from it?

The issue isn’t asking people to set temps at 78°, it’s that they decommissioned Indian Point (nuclear energy near NYC) for stupid environmental reasons

NC has never had widespread outages due to heat, but we received a text last night asking us to turn up the thermostat to 78 degrees. From what I have read, NC is producing about 20% less electricity per person as compared to 30 years ago. Build more nuclear to create an abundance of power instead of rationing so there's no chance of losing power in peak demand
