@goodalexander it's not just my ideas that are stupid, it's that i'm stupid

@goodalexander

@goodalexander Merely stupid ideas fail.
But *truly retarded* ideas succeed.

@goodalexander All the best (most lucrative) ideas are the most fucking stupid and shameless, like embarrassingly so -- like Instagram and OpenClaw -- you need to dive deep into your inner brainlessness to fathom the depths where these treasures lie

@goodalexander

Although this is fake, someone said a similar thing to Sam Altman when he launched ChatGPT.
Just because your first product isn't successful doesn't mean you should quit; building more and failing more will eventually push you to a position where you'll create products that solve problems and make you rich.
If success were guaranteed in the first try, everyone would be successful, but it doesn't work like this. You've to be consistent with it and never quit. "Until death, all defeat is psychological."

@goodalexander building something faster is a good thing when you’re building a good product. otherwise you’re just building shit nobody wants, but faster.
which is still a net positive, because maybe you can refine it into a good product.

@goodalexander @toly LMAO, 😂 everyone is just figuring out that majority of crap anyone thinks is mid curve at best.
Ideas are so cheap they are barely a commodity in the information market, execution and capitalization is essential to even a great idea.
Think Differently, work hard or servitude!

@goodalexander • Date: 2018, before ChatGPT release • Original title was about luck vs talent • MIT Technology Review does not write headlines like a 14-year-old Reddit edgelord

Nah man, toaster waffle maker- PTFE waffle enclosure for toasters. Attaching a solar panel to a stick which makes it a powered stylus. This is probably fake but if it isn't MIT can suck a dick. Also desktop tissue rollers. Screen printing with vinyl. Those do not require a crack team. I already did them.

High bullshit levels here. Good ideas scale fast. Great ideas catch on slower and the paradigm shifters are almost always ahead of their time. But, of course, the fucking stupid people don’t see that. They measure everything against instant gratification and monetary reward. Because well, they are mediocre and usually fairly fucking stupid.

@goodalexander Cuz saturation, there are so many fags like you out there doing same, did millions of covid death reduce home prices? Unemployment..etc

@goodalexander Or, AI just sucks and it's nowhere near as efficient as AI companies claim.

@goodalexander vibe coding is a breakthrough for MIT in 2026

@goodalexander the people winning with AI already had the business sense before AI existed. it just made them faster

@goodalexander Maybe;
Or AI isn't the genie you think it is? That could be part of the reason too.

@goodalexander banger

@goodalexander Before AI that was basically my response to people who said "I can't start a business because I don't have money". If your idea was good enouph, people would be throwing money at you to get it done.

@goodalexander Although perhaps true. Most of the successful people, if not all, had connections and sponsors. Some even go to high paid schools to build those connections.
You can have a best product if no one sees it or knows about it doesn't matter.

@goodalexander I’m intelligent
