OpenAI escalates security defenses with higher bug bounties and AI-assisted vulnerability research

OpenAI is planning an internal security sprint with Cathedral Systems researchers, who will use OpenAI’s models alongside its teams to find weaknesses and test defenses. The company is more than quadrupling bug bounty rewards for critical findings. Exceptional findings will be eligible for up to $172,000, including bonuses.
