XRP Ledger AI Starter Kit adds Machine Payments Protocol support in beta

Techstrongai reports that the XRP Ledger AI Starter Kit now supports the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) alongside the Open Wallet Standard, letting agents pay in XRP or RLUSD. The publisher highlights Ripple's choice to adopt Stripe and Tempo's standard rather than push its own payment rail. It says Visa, Mastercard, OpenAI and Anthropic already back the same payment flow. As of Techstrongai's September 21 update, the kit was in beta, with no named paying customer running MPP transactions through it.
