Matic reportedly launches $1,695 Serene robot vacuum with a quieter-cleaning promise

Matic launched the $1,695 Serene, priced $200 above the original Matic’s current price when The Verge reported its release on Oct. 27. The promised 52-decibel output at maximum suction is a claim, not a measurement reported by The Verge. Matic cofounder Mehul Nariyawala described the Serene as otherwise “exactly the same Matic.” Existing Matic owners can request a Serene hardware upgrade for their current model in early 2027.
