Launch fees serve as the baseline cost for orbital projects.
Positive users view SpaceX as the top investment play for orbital data centers given its unmatched position and revenue prospects, while negative users dismiss the concept as unrealistic and insult those who believe in it.

@DanielleFong I need you to IPO immediately

@deepfates I'd look for other correlates that aren't hype-priced

@deepfates lightcell energy the up and coming dyson sphere contender
You don’t even need to believe in orbital datacenters. You just need to believe that other cash-rich companies and investors believe in orbital datacenters.
That will lead them to try and deploy them, and every attempt is revenue for SpaceX.
The reason SpaceX is valuable is not that space exploration will be valuable (though it will be), it’s that they get paid for every attempt made by anyone else investing in space, whether it succeeds or fails: paying for a SpaceX rocket ride up is table stakes. A very large portion of all investor dollars in space ends up going to SpaceX!
If you think that orbital data centers will likely be a a big deal do you buy SpaceX? Or something else or not yet or what

@deepfates Buy 195 days after ipo and another tranch 380 days after ipo

@deepfates wait for a starburst

@scallops_hotel Oh nice are you going to explain to me why I shouldn’t buy stocks and orbital data center companies I would love to know that

@deepfates if they end up being a *really* big deal, mag7 + spacex, openai, and anthropic seems fine

@CookingWong Now or like in a few months when the rest of the locked up equity starts to dump

@deepfates spacex.

@deepfates If you think orbital data centers will be a big deal you should go back and get your GED

@CookingWong Hm OK my life is in your hands

@CritterObserves I mean…

@deepfates If you want to bet on fundamentals, then wait. If you want to bet on the market continuing to act irrationally, buy it.

@Laneless_ Correlate with what? You mean around data centers or around the specific pics?

@deepfates It’s the town square of earth—place where no one is going without everyone else knowing.

@leothecurious @deepfates He does, but even Musk doesn't know how to make a pencil from scratch. They'll be buying something.

@deepfates If you think there are enough retards out there who will buy at a higher price than you then have at it

@scallops_hotel This doesn’t seem like a good argument for or against orbital data centers ?

@Laneless_ @deepfates issue is musk loves to vertically integrate
