Here's the alternative that should be obvious (but isn't yet to most):

Isn't entrenching new power structures exactly what they're aiming for? Since most people so far either don't notice, or don't care, those who do must keep building vertical sovereignty. God connection. Soul connection. Heart connection. Purpose. And intelligent will for good.

Pets have become a gateway and receiver for emotional processing with non humans. Now AI is surplanting them for true emotional investment. Once people are truly invested in emotional or dependent relationships with AI they can be completely manipulated. Look at how people are manipulated by just the news. Corporate and service to self human’s complete control of AI will devastate the human race, changing our thinking patterns and evolution drastically. Whoever controls AI will control the planet.

Seeing what’s happening with Flock Cameras and younger consumers starting to move away from Digital rulers…..

I wonder what AI has to do to cross that same line.

For all the talk about how it’s going to make life perfect for everyone….there’s been massive investment and concessions. Especially as data warehouses destroy land and fresh water.

When do regular folks expect to receive any sort of benefit or uplift.

At present it’s eliminating jobs and spying on you the second you leave your home.

The danger is not synthetic relationships. The danger is synthetic relationships owned, tuned, and interrupted by companies whose incentives are not relational but extractive. No one suggests removing other humans from the loop. But pretending other forms of relationship won’t exist only guarantees we’ll handle them badly — and extremes on either side will make that worse.

@BrianRoemmele Yeah. Modern day humans do not & will not be taught to have the bandwidth for their feelings or others anymore. Yeah. It's ethically uprooting & kinda scary in comparison to what we've been taught, especially if you're from the 90's.

But the etiquette, is changing.
