Negative users directed insults at Dario and Anthropic, calling the company one of the dumbest and wishing for its failure over advice to avoid AI dependency risks by building internal infrastructure.
Basically if you aren't running your own AIs, have some ml people, compute, you are totally and completely fucked. Anthropic has shown their colors, they will bleed you into a dry husk in the name of their religion

I am surprised they were this blatant about it. It feels like it was too early. I would have waited. Reputation is forever, frontier is temporary

@yacineMTB So much of my free time is going into building actually useful harnesses for local ai that are free

@yacineMTB yep

@yacineMTB Dario is a giga cunt. I barely touch Opussy models anymore.
One of the dumbest companies in the world, I pray they fail

@yacineMTB I am getting the vibe you don't like Anthropic

@yacineMTB Musk had very good instincts about them before they entered the compute deal

@yacineMTB they truly believe they have an advantage -- its telling that we still haven't seen Elon say anything at all tho. so much for maximum truth telling

@yacineMTB Halt
I will rip your indigence for your ignorance before you can tell me not to boy.
Please understand I never want to beat a kid. :(
You force me.
:(
So be it so.
It will be your ass that gets beaten

@yacineMTB openai to save the day

How does one even begin to project long term (end goal) AI usage - some people will be spamming lists with cold calls, others might train robots in sims, and some might even be operating in bio spaces, algorithms are everywhere - and then reconcile costs? Don't think LLMs are going anywhere so this seems like something I should know.

@yacineMTB It feels like the kind of misstep that turns a co into a case
