Instagram expands Features to the US in a small widescreen video test

The Verge reports that Instagram’s longer, horizontal Features format is expanding in a small US test, while some creators in Brazil are also testing it. Instagram head Adam Mosseri wants longer videos to work alongside short clips despite concerns about sharing with friends. The company is separately testing Reels series, clips pointing to long videos and improvements to live-video discovery.
