@teortaxesTex the capex argument is funny because a lot of it isn't even getting built. every day there are halts or cancellation to new data center construction. they are more nervous and coping because too many people have money tied up in industry related stocks
AGI is the perfect crystallization of technocapitalism though. You get extreme superstar effects, maximally granular frictionless distribution, returns to scale, exponential compounding… One corpo, one CEO, one training run to pierce the heavens! At least that's the plan.
Not sure what to think of this bagholder/acc My impression is that this is the general American excuse for price-gouging. "no no, see, we need the margins to fund capex and R&D, it's not rent-seeking it's FAVSTIAN" OK? How did that work for REEs? For anything you had lost?
