Ex-DeepMind Employee Laments Talent Exodus as xAI Surpasses Google
Former employee Andreas Kirsch defended DeepMind's moral stance and retention.

Google’s slide has been depressing to watch (as a former deepmind employee). Nearly everyone I know has left. Hope they can turn it around.

Highest ranked@BlackHC @finbarrtimbers I'm still rooting for you guys. Shane is brilliant, Demis too, I really think focus is needed though. Anthropic had focus from launch and it has taken them far. OAI tried many things, but ever since they cut out side-quests I think they're better off. Hope GDM can follow.
