@iamtrask I didn’t say otherwise, but also in the US over the past decade there really isn’t.

@iamtrask I’m not sure what the source is, but some people are reporting that these are the questions which proves me correct that the right-leaning position is evil and/or dumb.

One of the healthier visions for the debate I’ve heard is risk tolerance:
Conservative: things are barely working. We don’t know why they work. Don’t change things or you might break it.
Liberal: things are clearly broken. We know how to fix them. Take action now do fewer get hurt.
I like this distinction because it’s clear they’re both right to some degree, and the debate is super productive in figuring out where to accelerate change or not.
