TLDR

The Financial Times reports CoreWeave is seeking cheaper funding from insurers for its AI infrastructure expansion. Co-founder Brannin McBee says investment-grade ratings on more chip-backed loans could open that market. An $8.5 billion loan backed by chips and a long-term Meta contract was its first such loan rated investment grade in full; McBee says loans backed by lower-rated customers are not ready for insurers yet.
