Microsoft reportedly blocks a Windows 11 26H2 account-setup bypass

Neowin reports that clicking “Learn more” during Microsoft account sign-in let Windows 11 Home users set up a freshly installed PC without internet or a Microsoft account; the trick did not work on Pro. Citing Windows enthusiast Bob Pony, Neowin says the workaround was patched server-side on more recent builds. Neowin found no mention of the change in recent cumulative update changelogs.
