1/ Spent the past few days testing Lux3D, a 3D generative model. You give it an image or a text prompt and it hands you back a full, editable 3D asset. No modeling skills required. Tried all 3 core features. A thread:

2/ Starting with Image to 3D. Gave it a single product photo and it built the full 3D model, geometry and all, in about 20 seconds. It didn't just approximate the shape, it actually held onto the material detail too. That's usually the part that takes a modeler the most time.

3/ Next, Text to 3D. No image this time, just a written prompt. It generated a clean, usable 3D asset straight from the text, no reference to work off of at all. If you've ever needed an asset fast with nothing to base it on, this is the one to try.

5/ Lux3D isn't just solid on material quality, it's also built to cut the cost and time of producing 3D assets at scale. There's a Harness Mode too, for batch-generating whole sets of assets efficiently instead of one at a time, which is huge for gaming, e-commerce, product…
