TLDR

Gizmodo reported in October 2026 that New Matter's Sudo resembled an iPod Classic but added a touchscreen, Bluetooth, USB-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The $250 player had 64GB of storage, expandable to 1TB with a microSD card. Preorders required a refundable $50 deposit, and Gizmodo said it apparently would not ship until late 2027.
