4000 GB200s Arrive in Texas for Horizon TACC Cluster
UC Berkeley professor Alex Dimakis reports the delivery and plans to train open models on the machine.
Alex Dimakis posted that 4000 GB200s just arrived in Texas for the Horizon TACC cluster. He states he is informed this is the largest academic supercomputer. Dimakis said he is very excited to start training some open models with the machine. The post credits a photo to Adam Klivans, director of NSF IFML. Dimakis is a Professor of EECS at UC Berkeley who co-founded Bespoke Labs AI.
