ChatGPT User Reports Secret Model Downgrade Ignoring Picker in Apps

I seem to have been secretly downgraded and l9ckrdb in chatgpt. 1) in the browser I haven't been able to open conversations since last night without any errors, every chatgpt link redirects to http://chatgpt.com, 2) in codex desktop app, every message defaults to gpt 5.5 instant and ignores model picker. Interestingly, my iPad app can work but phone app is locked out. 2) is very annoying and not transparent! It's fine to lockout but don't secretly change to model and ignore the model picker. I only could tell from the instant speed and asking the model @ChatGPTapp @OpenAI @thsottiaux

I think it's fine to limit to say 5 running threads or whatever but it should be done transparently. Don't secretly downgrade it and then I don't realize until 5 turns later...
