Putin praises Elon Musk, claims Russia is in close contact with American partners including Musk over satellites

Gizmodo reports that Putin called Musk a “real genius” and, in a translation credited to Bloomberg, claimed Russia was in close contact with American partners, including Musk, to avoid satellite interference. The Moscow Times places the remarks alongside a presentation of Russia’s Starlink rival, Rassvet. Neither report includes Musk’s response to Putin’s remarks or the claimed satellite contact, or specifics of any coordination.
