Bedrock Robotics raises $600 million at a $4.1 billion valuation

TechCrunch reports Bedrock Robotics’ $600 million Series C was co-led by CapitalG and Emergence Capital. Bedrock makes self-driving kits that can be retrofitted onto worksite vehicles. The company focuses on excavators partly because of a growing shortage of skilled operators, and plans to use the funding to expand deployments and field support.
