Nous Research Reintroduces Bot Mode for Hermes Agent
Persistent bots with roles, memory, skills, and tools communicate across chats in the app.
Teknium announced Bot Mode returns to Hermes Agent as an alternative to sessions. Each agent profile turns into a named bot given its own jobs, descriptions, profile pictures, memory, skills, tools, and external connections. Bots communicate directly with one another. One user split a task across three intentionally limited agents to test handoffs between research, build, and review steps. A separate video shows Qwen, GLM, and Kimi bots dividing frontend and other work on a 2D puzzle-platformer game through group chat based on their specialties.
