Fable 5 before GPT 5.6
This is insane, latest news is that Fable 5 may be un-banned before GPT 5.6
This is EXTREMELY UNFORTUNATE for OpenAI
GPT 5.6 is the far more pragmatic, faster and equally performant but will stay banned 🤯

🚀 New News - Fable 5 To Be Released Next Week
Very unfortunate for OpenAI...
GPT 5.6 is simply more faster, cheaper and as performant and will stay banned for 2 more weeks!

@bindureddy I would just wait for GPT-5.6
I think it would take less than 2 weeks, though

@bindureddy Amazing

@bindureddy I’m happy tbh we need it asap

I honestly don't get the point of blocking access to models like Mythos, Fable, or now GPT-5.6 🫤 It clearly has nothing to do with basic safety. Much smaller, open-source models are already perfectly capable of writing various exploits and scripts. The media hype surrounding the capabilities of these models, especially Mythos, is heavily exaggerated. The public fear is blown way out of proportion compared to what they can actually do. Ehhh

@bindureddy the timing of these comparisons always says more about who's losing the news cycle that week than which model is actually better

@bindureddy Yeah still poor openai ...

@bindureddy No proofs nothing

@bindureddy All news are new, that's why they are called news.

@bindureddy "GPT 5.6 is simply more faster, cheaper and as performant and will stay banned for 2 more weeks!" I gusse people here can speak out of their asses Nothing u said above is accurate .

@bindureddy finally something to agree

@bindureddy The release calendar has officially turned into an injury report. Keeping track is exhausting.

@bindureddy Can't wait to see the battle between GPT-5.6 and Fable 5! 🔥 Two absolute beasts going head to head — this is the AI rivalry I've all been waiting for.

@bindureddy @OpenAI has gpt-oss. @Google has Gemma. @xAI released Grok weights. These aren’t fringe players, they're frontier labs choosing openness. Yet, @Anthropic has not released Claude weights or an open model, yet keeps framing openness as the danger. That contrast matters.

@bindureddy Yes, but we’re not getting the full version… People need to realize frontier models going forward will be light versions not the full thing. Only the government special excess people will have the full thing.

@bindureddy Aren't you saying the same shit every week from the last month?

@bindureddy Faster, cheaper, performant is the easy part. The real bottleneck for shipping agents is supply chain reliability - bans, deprecations, and silent behavior changes break setups faster than model performance ever does.

@bindureddy Ohhhh poor OpenAi...

@bindureddy As the world cup is on...AI releases have gone full sports injury report. "GPT 5.6 questionable, doubtful for enterprise." The release calendar used to matter. Now it's just a suspension list.

@bindureddy Fable 5 first. gpt 5.6 in 2 weeks. both racing toward commodified inference pricing. calendar advantage doesn't change the math.
