Ask a partner to jailbreak the model, possibly even by giving them specific instructions. The partner jailbreaks it and reports the issue to officials. The officials ban the model.
The banned model gets hyped. Public interest increases, and everyone starts talking about it. A couple of days later, they say the officials were wrong. Pre-IPO hype increases 10x.
End result: they make more money.

I'm just giving what I read in the reports. Researchers from Amazon were testing the model, but no confirmed news it was Amazon themselves that reported it to the government. There is no confirmation the "another company" = Amazon. Let's wait for the news before jumping to conclusions. I prefer facts.

Fable was an amazing model, but sadly, if Amazon could jailbreak it, then any other person could, and they could potentially exploit it to the max with its capabilities.
