codex will build you an rclone sync w/ google docs. You get google docs and it syncs the md via google's native .md import and export.

Codex build me a little .gdrive-sync json which mapped id's to filepaths and poof works.. Now i have normies making suggestions on docs and i just pull it in

also you can paste markdown and copy markdown in gdocs you just have to enable it in the settings
