TechRadar reports that Blaze Entertainment says Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie on the Evercade Nexus use Rare’s original source code and feature “unreleased tracks” and “a level editor” uncovered in it. Blaze says the code contained material Rare didn’t know was there. TechRadar also said the Nexus was set to launch in October 2026.
