@bgurley Two over-hyped people quote-tweeting each other! There's no benefit (probly negative benefits) to states that put datacenters.. All the knowledge workers sit elsewhere in nyc, etc. You tax your state citizens for water, electricity, pollution, etc Like having Amazon wearhouses..

@bgurley The water and power issues are real but manageable with good leadership on both sides. The massive tax and jobs benefits to places like where I live in the rural Texas Hill Country will be huge: schools, hospitals, etc.

@bgurley Every lab needs reliable power to experiment. The UAE's smart grid and Masdar clusters are purpose built for the AI economy. I call it the strategic springboard for firms looking east.
