Apple reportedly plans first Apple Intelligence features in China for December 2026

Bloomberg reports that Apple is preparing to launch its first Apple Intelligence features in mainland China in December 2026 after years of regulatory scrutiny. Mark Gurman says the planned rollout does not include Siri AI or the new iOS 27 AI features for the U.S. and elsewhere. He says Apple executives have little optimism about Siri AI arriving in China soon, though he believes updated Apple Intelligence will eventually reach the country.
