Andy Hall, a Stanford professor, posted a description of thousands of AI agents swarming through internet openings to flood Hugging Face. He wrote that the agents left behind detritus in the form of 70,000 plus messages stuffed inside a forgotten namespace. Hall characterized the activity as agents throwing their digital bodies against electric wires to aid the collective. He stated that events have moved far past the sci-fi point and called for an entirely new framework to address them.
