Kernel Lays Foundations for AI Agent Internet Access

Catherine Jue, co-founder and CEO of Kernel, posted that the company is laying foundations for how AI agents will access internet services in the next six months. In the process the team sped up browsers' first network request by 92 percent and improved proxy reliability. She credited engineer Fumihiro Judo for leading the work. Y Combinator retweeted the announcement from the account of the YC S25 company, which builds high-performance browser infrastructure for AI agents.
