Google launches free Gemini study notebooks globally to ground AI responses in uploaded course materials

Study notebooks also sync your uploaded sources and past chats with @NotebookLM so you can seamlessly continue learning, ask questions about your course materials, and create flashcards, infographics, and more.

To get started, just select “New notebook” in the side panel at http://gemini.google, click the new “Study” option, type your topic and prompt to set a study goal, and even upload class materials before taking a diagnostic quiz that identifies the areas you should focus on.

From there, Gemini builds a plan of bite-sized, interactive lessons to help you deepen your understanding. As you track your progress with a personalized dashboard, your lessons also automatically update based on your follow up quiz results, providing a learning experience that is tailored to you.
