Xbox mandates four in-office days a week near Redmond starting February 2027

The Verge reports that an internal memo requires Xbox employees in Puget Sound who live within 50 commuting miles of Studio D to work in the office at least four days a week starting February 1, 2027. Microsoft’s broader requirement is three days a week. Xbox employees with existing exemptions will need to resubmit them; the memo suggests established in-office practices at Xbox studios will remain unchanged.
