Over the past year, @OrionPharma , a leader in human and veterinary medicines, has gone deep with Elicit. The team began using the platform in the early days of Reports and Systematic Literature Reviews, and more recently expanded that work with the launch of our Research Agent. Work that previously required going paper by paper can now be completed in a fraction of the time, helping Orion Pharma evaluate more targets with the same team and reach each assessment earlier. @OrionPharma is the largest pharmaceutical company in Finland, developing treatments across cancer, neurology, and more. AI is a core part of their strategy; @elicitorg now helps accelerate work like target prioritization. Target prioritization is the earliest stage of the drug development process. It informs what dozens of scientists will then spend months or years researching and designing programs around. A well-validated target has been shown to increase a program's probability of success by 2x. It's a high-stakes decision and thus requires surveying a large amount of research and weighing different considerations, even beyond the biology. Previously, scientists spent weeks searching, reading, and synthesizing massive amounts of information. Elicit's systematic approach allows Orion to make go/no-go decisions faster and with greater conviction.
