AMD posts record Q3 revenue as Data Center sales jump 97%

AMD reported record third-quarter 2026 revenue of $13.4 billion on Nov. 3, up 45% from a year earlier. Its earnings release lists non-GAAP diluted earnings of $2.09 a share, compared with $1.46 under GAAP accounting.

The biggest increase came from Data Center, where AMD reported record revenue of $8.5 billion, up 97% year over year. The company attributed that growth to strong demand for its EPYC processors and the launch of its Instinct MI450 series GPUs.

Growth was not uniform across AMD’s businesses. Client and Gaming revenue was $3.7 billion, down 8% year over year; within that segment, Gaming revenue fell 40% to $773 million. Embedded revenue rose 29% to $1.1 billion.
