@markiewagner I could not agree more! There are a bunch of manufacturing companies in the middle of nowhere in the states that barely use automation. It is a very expensive project for them so they would rather stick with manual human work than invest in a project that pays off in 10 yrs

Maybe. But there’s a reason that we don’t generally let such young people have important positions of authority. They are not Presidents, senior military leaders, judges, business leaders, etc. It’s because important virtues like judgment, prudence, courage, wisdom, temperance, and humility do not normally form fully until after more age and experience. There are exceptions, but by definition those are rare and not the norm.

@markiewagner Refreshing take. I'm writing software for large publicly traded companies that clearly shows you need a deterministic approach for consistency. An LLM cannot lead it. You introduce LLM when needed.

We may have just see seen that that high end tech jobs may not be "automatable" once you actually have to pay for tokens at something close to the cost of production. ...Unless Elon's next harebrained scheme results in free electricity. And actually free, not - well... the unobservable costs are born by retail households or Chinese citizens. MW hours cost money in the real world. Likely always will...
